Martial Art

I am a martial arts student, and I hold a purple belt in Shotokan Karate. Although I started this learning almost two decade ago, there were many interruptions. However, I continue to learn.

learning a martial art is not about fighting. It’s a form of meditation. It’s a form of building your inner strength. A healthy mind needs a healthy body. Unlike other forms of exercise, Karate consists of a collection of skills and training that focus on both the body and mind: speed, focus, and power.

When saying karate or other martial arts, many think of breaking ice cubes and bricks, but I don’t want to give a false picture to you by adding a video where I open a bottle with a roundhouse kick. I thought to add this video because there was a time when opening a bottle was trending online. So, I took this video with the help of my friends and added it here because this could be the most suitable page to add it in.

Learning martial arts gives you the mental strength to endure pain, tackle challenges, and persevere through hard work. The reason I have continued practicing this art for such a long time is that I identified its benefits very early on. I am thankful to my father for identifying a good class and a proficient master to start my training in my twenties.

Now I continue learning with my son even almost after two decades. Can guess my age?
